With 15 years in UK water and wastewater non-infrastructure engineering, including my current Associate Director position, I am keen to continue leading work of this kind. Your role’s focus on sound technical delivery, client relationships and developing engineering teams closely matches the work I do and the contribution I want to make. In my current role at Alderwick Consulting, I direct civil design from optioneering through construction across water and wastewater schemes. I lead reviews of reinforced concrete structures , foundations, slabs and hydraulic structures, and approve calculations, reports, specifications and drawings against Eurocodes, British Standards and Water Industry Specifications . I coordinate civil design with mechanical, electrical, ICA and process teams , while managing client expectations, budgets, resources and commercial delivery. A particular strength I would bring is joining up technical decisions with effective project delivery. At Westmere Infrastructure, I brought civil, mechanical, electrical, ICA and process teams together around coordinated design packages. My multidisciplinary project team recognised my clear coordination of civil design interfaces with a project delivery commendation in 2022. That experience reflects the practical, collaborative leadership needed to guide complex schemes and maintain confidence across project teams. I am equally committed to building capability and maintaining high standards. Across my leadership roles, I have mentored engineers through technical reviews and development discussions, and used design and construction feedback to support quality, safety and continuous improvement.
