I am keen to bring my 10 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience in hospitality and owner-managed businesses to a role supporting several hotel businesses and a family office . The combination of practical finance work and close contact with hotel operations is a strong match for the work I do now. In my current role at Ashcombe Stays, I maintain Xero records for four hotels and coordinate accounts payable , including checking invoices against approvals, scheduling supplier payments and resolving discrepancies with hotel teams. I also process monthly group payroll , update starters and leavers , and reconcile pension contributions and statutory payments before submission. My month-end work includes bank and balance sheet reconciliations , preparation of schedules and clear monthly P&L information for the finance lead to review. I handle VAT and routine compliance queries with hotel colleagues and external advisers, and respond to ad hoc bookkeeping requests from the owners’ family office. My earlier roles add experience supporting three owner-managed accommodation businesses and finance administration across hospitality sites. I hold the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate, and I am Xero Advisor Certified. I would value the opportunity to contribute this hands-on, multi-entity experience to Northbank’s finance function and help keep its records, payroll and reporting accurate and on schedule.
