I recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at North Carolina State University and am based in Raleigh. My project work has given me practical experience with PHP, MySQL, responsive interfaces, database-backed features, and the testing and documentation needed to turn a working prototype into something others can use. In a supervised PHP practicum, I built a service-request portal from 18 stakeholder requirements. The application included authenticated forms, status tracking, searchable records, and reusable CRUD functions across customer, request, and administrative views. I used Git branches and pull requests to track changes, then investigated PHP warnings, SQL errors, and session defects with test cases and browser tools. After usability reviews with 12 student testers, I revised the navigation and validation and prepared setup instructions so faculty reviewers could reproduce the build. I would bring a similar approach to client projects at Blue Ridge Webworks: clarify the requirement, make a sensible implementation plan, test the result, and explain the decisions clearly. My ecommerce capstone also gave me experience with product browsing, cart management, checkout simulation, parameterized queries, session controls, and basic SEO across 14 pages.
